Description

Established Construction Subcontractor is seeking a Business Development Coordinator for a permanent role in their Sydney Branch Office.

Essentially you would be the ‘face of the Company’ in New South Wales where you would take a lead role initiating new business leads and ensuring ongoing business relationships are maintained.

Fifty percent of your time will be spent visiting construction sites, ensuring that the business needs are being met from a site perspective. The rest of the time will be spent in the office keeping the website and social media platforms up to date and ensuring a CRM database is maintained to store information and encourage National cross over of lead generation.

Qualifications

Duties will include:

  •  Cold calling for new business
  • Aftercare to check that clients are satisfied with service and ask for feedback
  • Arranging on site meetings with senior construction professionals to discuss business opportunities
  •  Pitching the business in board room meetings
  • Keeping a CRM database with information up to date
  •  Organising marketing events
  •  Develop relationships with industry bodies
  •  Look for opportunities to sponsor suitable events
  •  Engage with industry via social media
  •  Oversee content to be uploaded to the Company website
  •  Champion Company Newsletter
  •  Assist with general administrative tasks
  •  Assist with expressions of interest and tenders
  •  Organise internal functions
  •  Site Photography
  •  Contribute where appropriate to Company branding
  •  Keep staff profiles up to date

You will be joining a small agile team where everyone works together to achieve results. You must be a confident communicator who is not afraid to cold call, build rapport and research the market to find new leads. It is not a hard-core sales environment but you have to have the confidence and the initiative to be able to follow a lead through. There is already an established business in place that has grown through referrals and repeat business and so there is a good starting point to begin with and a core group of existing clients.

The following computer skills are desirable: Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Suite, 3D Issue, Mail Chimp and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
