An established building contractor who are renowned for delivering exceptional commercial construction solutions for over 30 years, currently have an immediate opening for a skilled Leading Hand / Sub Foreperson to join their dynamic team on an exciting heritage listed hospitality project.
This project encompasses the creation of a stunning rooftop bar, an inviting alfresco dining area, and a comprehensive upgrade and fit-out of accommodation rooms. Additionally, it includes the construction of a ground-floor concrete amenities block, the installation of a new lift shaft, and the development of a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
The perfect candidate for this role will be an accomplished carpenter, equipped with a trade certificate and a passion for advancing their career. You’ll be ready to step up to managerial responsibilities, including mastering materials handling, navigating complex logistics, and overseeing traffic control on a tight site.
In addition to leading engaging toolbox talks and supporting the management of subcontractors, you’ll also have the chance to showcase your craftsmanship by working hands-on as a carpenter.
