Qualifications

Rare opportunity to join a Project Management firm that specializes in Data Centre / Mission Critical projects. This role will report to a Senior Project Manager and Project Director.

You will be tasked with assisting on a significant data centre project that services international hyperscale, government and retail customers based on an existing data centre campus, certified to tier III uptime standards, commissioned to international hyperscale standards.

Although highly advantageous, previous experience of working on data centers is not a prerequisite for this role so if you are keen to break into this sector of the industry, here is your opportunity! What is essential though is to have between three to eight years of construction experience working on mission critical projects.

This position could provide the perfect opportunity for a Project Engineer, a skilled Contract Administrator or a Junior Project Manager who is working for a building contractor but recognizes that a career as a Client-Side Project Manager is a better fit, long term.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Join in all activities on site with project team.
  • Provide project management support to superintendent, Project Director, and team.
  • Lead minor works projects.
  • Liaise and coordinate with local authorities.
  • Design review and management of consultant team
  • Procurement and contract administration
  • Project reporting / assessment of cost, time, risk, and progress

Skills and requirements:

  • Outstanding accuracy / attention to detail
  • An organized, articulate individual who has the ability to think ahead.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent programming and sequencing skills
  • Strong numerical abilities
  • Between three to eight years’ experience in the construction industry working on data centre or mission critical projects
  • Degree qualified in construction, business, or engineering.
