Throughout Australia this multi award winning National Building Contractor are recognized for the exceptional, often landmark, construction projects that they have continually produced in innovative and interesting ways.
They build projects in an array of project types including but not limited to the commercial, industrial, hospitality, education, retail and science sectors. They often exceed expectations, but they still retain a down to earth spirit.
They work in partnerships with a loyal group of subcontractors who they consider to be part of the one team. A large proportion of projects are negotiated as a result of ongoing long-term relations with clients. They currently have a full order book of projects and they have several commercial prospects at the concept stage, some single select.
They do not employ on a whim and they are interested in employing someone who has the potential to grow into a Senior Project Managers position. Just like this would be an important decision for you it is also going to be a key decision for them.
To be considered for this career role you need to have a solid track record of working on the planning, methodology and design phase of large-scale construction projects. You need to be a planner, a strategic thinker and someone who brings energy and commitment to the table.
You must be commercially astute and not be afraid to make major decisions. You need to be a confident leader who can mentor and inspire other people with the capacity to really listen. You believe that you are always learning and developing as an individual and you are energized by sharing your knowledge with others less experienced than yourself.

This Building Contractor has a flat management structure and you will have direct access to the Board of Directors. Initially you will oversee a complex design and construct, landmark project.
This is a role for someone who is looking for a company to call home for a long tenure. There is a degree of flexibility in relation to when this position might commence. They could employ someone now but equally are happy to wait until sometime in the first quarter of next year.
