This medium tier builder has a history of success that spans over two decades. They operate over several sectors and have a formidable reputation for building complex design and construct projects up to $30M. They do new build and fit out and refurbishment projects and they are very well respected in the health care sector. They also build commercial, educational and hospitality projects. The Managing Director is a very honest, straight talker who encourages his senior staff to be leaders. He gives the Project Managers a lot of autonomy. You must be tertiary qualified with a degree in Construction Management or similar. You need to have four- or five-year’s solid experience as a Contract Administrator post-graduation before becoming a Project Manager. You must be commercially astute and these skills will have allowed you to have an edge over other Project Managers. You will be able to demonstrate that you can run fast track sometimes very intricate fit out and refurbishment projects and new build, Design and Construct projects to at least $10M. Experience of managing health care projects would be beneficial.
