Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will take the helm in managing multiple projects, overseeing every stage of their lifecycle with finesse. From meticulous cost estimation to seamless installation, budgeting, and comprehensive project management, you will ensure everything is executed flawlessly. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with both the sales and operations teams to deliver timely, exceptional results that leave a lasting impact and exceed client expectations.
The client base you will be servicing spans several high-impact sectors, including construction, industrial, waste management, aviation, and tier-one mining contractors. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer ready to take the next step in their career, or for a Junior Project Manager or Project Manager seeking a dynamic and unique environment.
The most highly sought after candidates will have a background in construction, mining, or engineering, and a desire to work in a challenging environment while contributing as part of a small, dynamic team. Based at Erskine Park, Sydney, this position offers a stable five-day workweek, providing an ideal balance of challenge and consistency.
The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Solid understanding of tendering, procurement, programming, and budget management.
- Proven experience with quality assurance (QA), work health and safety (WHS), and the management of related documentation.
- Skilled at collaborating with subcontractors and building strong relationships with external clients.
- Capable of taking ownership of projects, meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and leading teams through the process.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and eager to expand product knowledge.
- Able to approach challenges in a methodical and systematic manner.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
