Qualifications

Are you a standout Construction Project Manager who has solid experience with a third or second tier building or civil construction company, who is motivated to take your career to the next level? If you are excelling in your current role but hitting a dead end on the path to Senior Project Manager / Construction Manager, we have an exciting opportunity just for you!

Imagine breaking free from the constraints of a top-heavy organization where advancement seems out of reach. This is your chance to step into a role where your skills and success are not only recognized but celebrated.

This contractor specializes in high-quality civil construction projects, particularly early works, and infrastructure for mission-critical facilities. They also manage new builds, fit-outs, and refurbishments in the healthcare, government, defence, and education sectors.

They are keen to hire an experienced Project Manager with strong knowledge of earthworks, underground services, roads, and remediation. The initial task will be to oversee a fast-track $40 million project in Marsden Park, Sydney. The Senior Project Manager will be expected to drive the project’s program and quality while managing commercial risks. Additional responsibilities include consulting with clients and key stakeholders, as well as leading a team that includes an aspiring Project Manager, a skilled Site Manager, a Contract Administrator, and Plant Operators. The role is intended to evolve into a Construction Manager position.

As a Construction Manager, the individual will mentor and train the construction team, identify weaknesses in systems and procedures, and refine commercial and building processes from tender to completion. They seek someone with an approachable personality who enjoys collaborating with the team to guide and encourage. The ideal candidate would prioritize the success of others as much as their own.

One of the key benefits of working with this company is their commitment to promoting work-life balance and ensuring the health and well-being of their team.

Don’t let your career prospects be overshadowed by organizational roadblocks—seize this moment to unlock a future brimming with potential.
